HDMS Vædderen (F359)

A Thetis-class ocean patrol boat launched in Decemeber 1990
for the Royal Dainsh Navy, Seen above as she arrived in Glasgow
to take part in Joint Warrior 131. She was the third of her kind to
be built and can achieve a top speed of 21 Knots.

RRS James Cook

Research vessel 'James Cook' seen above alongside Sheildhall in
Glasgow, She is here to take on stores before resuming her job of surveying.
She was built in Norway at the cost of £36 million, She is based in
Southampton and has a crew of around 50 scientists and technicians.

Yeoman Bank

After unloading her cargo of Aggregates at Sheildhall 'Yeoman Bank'
is seen above departing Glasgow with tug 'Ayton Cross'. She arrived
yesterday from her usual route of Glensanda where she usually operates from.

KNM Gnist (P965)

One of the more appealing things to visit the Clyde in previous 
years 'Gnist' is a Skjold-class patrol boat for Norwegian Navy.
She can achieve an impressive 60knots and is constructed of 
glass fibre/carbon composite materials.

ORP KONTRADMIRAL XAVERY CZERNICKI (511)

Seen sailing downriver 'Czernicki' of the Polish Navy heading outbound
to take part in Joint Warrior 131. Originally ordered for the Russian Navy
she was completed in 2001, She is able to hold up to 140 troops and a helicopter
and is mainly used to supply or ships with food & water.
